Simple and elegant large banded ironstone jug / pitcher by Copeland (Spode)  
Difficult to give an exact date as the  impressed mark 'COPELAND' was in use from 1847 to 1958 and this jug does not have an additional date stamp. Other similar examples online are listed as Victorian or Edwardian (I’m inclined towards the latter due to it’s simplistic form) 
Approx 19.5cm height and approx 13cm diameter (base) 
Has some very small specks of discolouration around the rim but otherwise In excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing
